Why a Colorado Road Trip Is Worth It

Colorado invites you to explore beyond the highlights. During my 7-day road trip, I realized the in-between moments—the roadside stops, local conversations, and spontaneous detours—were just as memorable as the destinations.

Travel tip: Don’t rush. Build flexibility into your itinerary.

Day 1: Arrive in Denver + Food Tour

Start your trip in Denver with a food tour to get a feel for the city’s culinary scene. It’s the perfect way to kick off your trip and discover local favorites right away.

Spend the day at Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most iconic parks in the U.S.

Expect:

  • Scenic alpine drives

  • Snow-dusted peaks (especially in shoulder seasons)
